Our community café has always been more than just a place to grab a cup of tea. It’s a warm, welcoming space where people of all ages come together to connect, share stories, learn new skills, and feel part of something bigger.
Now, we’re taking the next big step: renovating our kitchen so we can serve more people, and host activities that bring our community even closer. To make this happen, we need your help.
That’s where our Buy a Brick campaign comes in.
By “buying a brick,” you’re not just helping us upgrade walls and equipment, you’re helping build a future where:

- Volunteers can learn new skills and grow in confidence.
- Local groups can gather, share, and support one another.
- Employment opportunities for local people
Every brick you buy will go directly towards funding the kitchen renovation. Each one is a symbol of the kindness, generosity, and community spirit that makes this place so special.

Be Part of Our Brick Wall of Thanks
When you buy a brick, your generosity won’t just build our new café kitchen, it will become part of a lasting legacy.
Every supporter will be recognised on our Brick Wall of Thanks, a special display inside the café where each brick will carry the name (or dedication) of the person, family, business, or group who donated.
It’s our way of celebrating the community spirit that made this renovation possible.
You can choose to:

Renovation Fundraising Update 🛠️
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our renovation project so far. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised over £12,000 in donations — we’re incredibly grateful for every contribution 💛
At this stage, we still need to secure additional external funding before any renovation work can begin. Until that funding is in place, the café will remain open as normal, and there will be no changes to our day-to-day opening or activities.
